The Greater Philadelphia Area Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists (GPA-APG) was formed in 2004, and then revived in 2012, to promote the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in the genealogical field at the regional level. Our members are located in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware area.

The Chapter meets approximately every other month throughout the year. Meeting locations are listed below.

If you are interested in joining our chapter, print out and complete the application form and submit to the GPA-APG Treasurer with the $10 annual membership fee. Chapters members must be a member in good standing of the Association of Professional Genealogists.

The professional genealogists listed in the directory on this site are members of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the Greater Philadelphia Area Chapter of APG. Those accepting clients charge fees for their services and adhere to the APG Code of Ethics.

The professional genealogist will respond with information about his/her services and fees. Neither APG nor the Greater Philadelphia Area chapter of APG assumes responsibility for research work contracted through this listing.
